Revere Satter-lights
About
a year after its launch, the Modem Mavens discovered the Melrose Mirror. The
Modem Mavens are a computer mentoring group at the (then) brand new senior citizens'
residence, the Jack Satter House, on the ocean's edge in Revere, Massachusetts.
The group contacted the Melrose Silver Stringers to find out how they could
start an online publication like the Melrose Mirror.
The Revere group met with the Melrose Silver Stringers and with advisors from
the MIT Media Lab, and with help and advice from both groups, a new publication
called The Satter-lights was born.
